Crown Capital Partners, a provider of growth capital to mid-market companies, has completed a USD50 million closing for Crown Capital Fund IV, bringing the current total capital committed to the fund to USD175 million.
To date, USD110 million has been invested by the fund in six transactions.

Ogier has strengthened its Luxembourg investment fund team with the appointment of Anne-Gaëlle Delabye as a managing associate.
Delabye (pictured) focuses on investment funds and regulatory work, with a particular specialism in the regulated investment funds sector.
She previously worked as head of regulatory and investment management at the Luxembourg office of a French firm.
The new recruitment is part of a plan of sustained investment in Ogier's Luxembourg office, which has grown significantly since it was established five years ago, and which now includes almost 20 lawyers.

European financial services private equity firm AnaCap Financial Partners is to acquire a controlling stake in Heidelpay, a German online payment service provider (PSP).
As part of the transaction, the co-founders and existing management will retain a minority stake in the business.
Founded in 2003, Heidelpay is a full-service PSP that facilitates payment acceptance on behalf of online merchants. The platform is 100 per cent proprietary, serving more than 14,500 primarily online businesses across the DACH and Benelux regions, and processes transactions across more than 200 payment methods, covering online, mobile and point-of-sale channels.

Modern Energy Management (MEM), a specialist in delivering project lifecycle certainty to renewable energy developers, financiers and investors, has appointed Kyle Katoski as head of project origination for South-East Asia.
With extensive experience across Asia, Katoski (pictured) will lead business development from the firm’s Singapore headquarters.

Law firm Akerman has bolstered its tax practice group with the appointment of former CBS vice president and general tax counsel Alvan L Bobrow as partner.
Bobrow joins the firm’s New York office from Mayer Brown, where he served as the leader of the national state and local tax group.

Houston-based private equity firm Rock Hill Capital Group has held the final closing of Rock Hill Capital III, with USD150.6 million in capital commitments.
Rock Hill Capital III commitments exceed its previous funds, Rock Hill Capital II, a 2013 vintage fund with USD87.7 million in commitments and Rock Hill Capital I, a 2008 vintage fund with USD48.8 million in commitments.
Rock Hill Capital III will continue to pursue a similar investment strategy, focusing on buyouts and recapitalisations of industrial products and service companies.

Comcast Ventures, the venture capital affiliate of Comcast Corporation, has appointed Kai Bond as principal to lead Comcast Ventures Catalyst Fund.
Bond will be based out of New York and focus on investing in early-stage start-ups in NYC and start-ups led by minority entrepreneurs across the country.

DW Healthcare Partners and Council Capital, two healthcare-focused private equity firms, have appointed Mark Lashley as chief executive officer of Caregiver, a provider of services to the intellectual and developmental disability community in the US.

DataBank, a Digital Bridge portfolio company, is to acquire C7 Data Centers, a data centre service provider in the Salt Lake City market.
C7 currently operates three, highly interconnected data centres in the region, including the primary carrier hotel in downtown Salt Lake City, and has a large established customer base of enterprise, carriers, content providers and cloud services providers.
The acquisition complements DataBank’s existing portfolio in Minneapolis, MN, Kansas City, KS, and Dallas, TX.
