Private equity firm Sentinel Capital Partners has recapitalised Sonny's Enterprises, a provider of conveyorised car wash systems.
Terms of the deal were have been disclosed.
Established in 1949, Sonny's is the largest global manufacturer of conveyorised car wash systems. Sonny's designs and manufactures car wash systems in its 135,000 sq ft facility in Tamarac, Florida and will continue to be managed by the same family that has run the business since its inception.

The Coaching Inn Group has secured a further GBP10 million investment from BGF (Business Growth Fund) to support a planned GBP50 million expansion across the UK.
The Boston, Lincolnshire headquartered business currently operates 12 coaching inns and will use the capital to increase the size of its portfolio to 25 properties by March 2019.
The GBP10 million injection follows an initial investment of GBP4.5 million from BGF in March 2015, which helped the group to purchase and operate an additional six properties.

Two thirds of limited partners (LPs) say there would be a negative impact on the EU from a ‘hard’ Brexit – a separation of the UK from the EU involving significant restrictions on the UK’s access to the EU single market and strong immigration curbs.
That’s according to Coller Capital’s latest Global Private Equity Barometer which reveals that fully three quarters of LPs think a hard Brexit would damage the UK, while well over a third (37 per cent) of LPs think a hard Brexit would also lower their overall returns from European private equity.

UK private equity house Maven Capital Partners has realised its investment in plastic extrusion manufacturer Nenplas, generating a return of more than 5x for investors.
