Private equity firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners has completed the previously announced acquisition of the products division of the material handling business of FMC Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: FTI).
The new company will be named Syntron Material Handling, LLC ("Syntron").
Headquartered in Tupelo, Mississippi with operations in Changshu, China and Salt Lake City, Utah, Syntron is a leading manufacturer of a diversified product line of conveyor and vibratory equipment used to load, transport and feed bulk materials. The Company's products are sold to customers throughout the world in the mining, aggregates, packaging and food industries.

Benhamou Global Ventures, a Silicon Valley based early-stage venture capital firm, has held the first close of funding for BGV II LP.
The fund is focused on seed and early stage investing in enterprise technology including security, cloud-based services, web scale infrastructure, mobility and the emerging Internet of Things.
Benhamou Global Ventures has already made its first investment from BGV II in Qubell, a company providing application deployment and configuration management for web-scale applications. Founded by repeat entrepreneur and enterprise cloud pioneer, Victoria Livschitz, Qubell brings true agility and speed to enterprises online commerce operations.

The contemplated acquisition is subject to the completion of the customary works council information and consultation procedures.

CertiVox has raised Series B funding of USD8 million from NTT DOCOMO Ventures and current investors Octopus Investments.
The investment by NTT DOCOMO Ventures is its first in Europe, signifying the innovation and strength of CertiVox’s technology and its breakthrough potential to solve current problems in online authentication systems. RCS Capital Corporation (RCAP) has closed its acquisition of the Cetera Financial Group, an independent broker-dealer, from affiliates of Lightyear Capital for USD1.15 billion in cash.
The transaction creates the second largest independent financial advisor network in the US adding some 6,632 financial advisors to RCAP's growing retail financial advisory platform.
The deal supports the company's vision of providing customised financial solutions that help investors achieve their overall investment and retirement goals through access to a full spectrum of advice, service, credit products and innovative investment solutions.

Law firm White & Case has advised the first new fund raised by Arle Capital since its spin out from Candover in 2009 on its acquisition of the Innovia Group for an enterprise value of EUR498 million.
Headquartered in Cumbria, Innovia is an international manufacturer of high quality, speciality film for its key markets of labels, overwrap, packaging and polymer banknote substrate. It employs around 1,600 people worldwide and, earlier this year, won the Bank of England contract to supply substrate for the new polymer GBP5 and GBP10 notes.

Senior partner Mark Salter also joins Bowmark’s management committee alongside Kevin Grassby and Charles Ind.
The internal reorganisation follows the recent fundraising of Bowmark Capital Partners V, which closed in December 2013 at its cap of GBP375 million. The new fund’s investment period begins this month and it will invest in growth-oriented service companies, typically with enterprise values of up to GBP100 million.
