TradeRiver Finance is to increase the level of funding it will make available to UK SMEs following an investment from GLI Finance (GLIF).
The investment, which is in the form of equity and debt to the total of GBP2.8m, enables TradeRiver to accelerate its growth plans and offer trade finance solutions to more UK businesses.
TradeRiver is a non-bank online funding solution which finances trade, both cross-border and in the UK. The company provides businesses with finance to purchase goods and services through a convenient online platform. GLIF will be the first institutional/trade investor into TradeRiver.

HarbourVest Private Equity’s (HVPE) estimated NAV per share was USD13.81 at the end of January, a USD0.04 per share decrease from the 31 December 2013 estimate of USD13.85 and a USD1.35 per share (11 per cent) increase during the financial year ended 31 January 2014.
The monthly change was driven primarily by foreign currency movement. The value of the majority of HVPE’s privately-held companies continues to reflect the investment manager’s preliminary estimate of year-end 2013 valuations.

Businesses are hesitant about adopting integrated reporting (IR) with the majority taking a “wait and see” approach, according to research from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Chief financial officers and other senior finance professionals told ACCA that while they had yet to adopt IR many of them planned to do so in the near future.
Just 10 per cent said they had no intention of adopting the reporting model, which includes non-financial information.

Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Rigby Group has completed the acquisition of M2 Digital, a UK-based managed print services company, from private equity firm ECI Partners through its technology brand, SCC.
Rigby Group is focused on five core areas: technology, aviation, hotels, property and investments.

More than 50 per cent of fund managers, prospective clients and consultants attending a recent Northern Trust seminar on the European Union's Alternative Investment Fund Manager Directive (AIFMD) said they believed investors would still not be engaged in AIFMD considerations by December 2015.
These latest findings echo a previous survey conducted by Northern Trust in 2012 where a significant number of respondents had concerns over AIFMD, with close to 70 per cent citing their investors were not engaged in AIFMD considerations at the time.

Private equity firm BlackFin has acquired GP3 and Decalog, two software solutions providers dedicated to the asset management and asset servicing industry, from SunGard.
GP3 is a fund accounting, valuation and reporting software, while Decalog is a middle-office, front-office and compliance software.
BlackFin is combing the two companies to create new entity, which will be known as NeoXam.
Overall, NeoXam will employ circa 250 people, of whom circa 150 are in Western Europe, and will generate consolidated revenues of around USD50m making it one of the largest European providers of software solutions dedicated to the asset management industry.
Advanced Accelerator Applications, a specialist in molecular nuclear medicine (MNM), has completed a capital increase of EUR41m.
The capital increase will help fund expansion plans and finance clinical trials of its portfolio of MNM diagnostic and therapeutic products.
The fundraising came from existing and new shareholders, including private investors and funds such as a company of the Tamburi Investment Partners Group and the specialist biotech and pharma investment company HBM Healthcare Investments who led the investment with EUR20m.
