Peter Stefanski, a veteran of Thoma Bravo, has joined Nexa Equity as a partner to bolster the firm’s focus on AI-driven investments, according to a report by Reuters. Stefanski spent 14 years at Thoma Bravo, including time working as a partner on the firm’s flagship fund.
At Nexa Equity, which recently closed its second fund at $390m, he will help identify founder-led software-as-a-service companies in the lower mid-market with annual recurring revenue between $5m and $20m.
The move complements a broader expansion at Nexa: the firm has also added Blake Shott from Sumeru Equity Partners as principal and appointed Conor Barber as an operating partner focusing on technology and artificial intelligence.
