Noerr advises ISS Deutschland on acquisition of former E.ON subsidiary EVANTEC

Noerr is advising ISS Facility Holding Services, subsidiary of the listed Danish company ISS, on its acquisition of EVANTEC from Luxemburg private equity fund palero invest.

ISS was the successful bidder in a structured auction process.

ISS is relying on a Noerr team led by the Berlin corporate partner Christoph Spiering.

The ISS Group, a facility services provider with sales of EUR10.66 billion, is taking over a company specialising in facility management services in the German energy industry. With a workforce of some 800, the former E.ON subsidiary EVANTEC offers its customers, which include key power plant operators, technical infrastructure and nuclear services.

The purchase is still subject to clearance by the Federal Cartel Office in Germany and fulfilment of other contractual conditions. Closing of the transaction is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2017.

A Noerr team led by Spiering advised ISS in 2014 on the takeover of the facility service provider VSG from Vattenfall.
