Nordic Capital Advisors has appointed Daniel Kanak as Partner and Head of Investor Relations, further strengthening its Investor Relations leadership team. Based in London, Kanak will assume the role on 15 May 2025, succeeding Pär Norberg, who transitions to Senior Advisor within the Investor Relations team.
With over 15 years of private equity experience, Kanak will oversee all aspects of global investor relations, including Limited Partner communication, relationship management, fundraising, and co-investments.
Kanak joins from Warburg Pincus, where he served as Managing Director in the Fundraising and Investor Relations group, leading investor engagement across the US and Latin America.
Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Nordic Capital Advisors, co-leading fundraising and investor relations for the Americas, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
His experience also includes a tenure at Temasek, focusing on fund, co-investment, and secondaries investments, as well as early career roles at Goldman Sachs and as a co-founder of a German fitness company.
Nordic Capital is currently investing its €9bn Fund XI, which closed at its hard cap in 2022. In December 2024, the firm successfully closed Evolution II, its second mid-market fund, at €2bn, following a four-month fundraise that saw strong LP support, particularly from the Americas.
