Nordstjernan invests in insurtech company Insurello

Nordstjernan has invested in the rapidly expanding insurtech company Insurello and will become a partner to the founders and existing shareholders.

Insurello is a Swedish insurtech company formed in 2016 and headquartered in Stockholm. The company helps private individuals to receive their fair compensation following an accident. Through a scalable and automated process, Insurello helps individuals with the entire claims management process towards insurance companies, and can also identify unknown insurance policies that the individual is unaware of.

Insurello has built a scalable platform for claims management, enabling the customer to gain an overall view of their insurance policies, as well as receiving their fair compensation.

The investment is being made within Nordstjernan’s new growth initiative, Nordstjernan Growth.

“Insurello is the second investment in Nordstjernan’s new growth initiative, Nordstjernan Growth. We are impressed by the team behind Insurello and the business scalability, and foresee significant potential in introducing the service in more geographies and in further verticals. We believe that Nordstjernan Growth is a good fit as a partner in the phase in which the company currently finds itself,” says Nordstjernan’s President Peter Hofvenstam.
