OAG, the provider of a data platform for the global travel industry, has acquired Infare, a provider of competitor air travel data, from private equity firm Ventiga Capital in a deal valuing the combined entity at over $500m.

Both management teams will continue in the combined group and will retain a shareholding in the business with Vitruvian Partners providing fresh financial backing.
OAG and Infare believe that together, there is a significant opportunity for them to better provide airline partners and the wider travel ecosystem with high-quality data and innovative solutions.
Through the acquisition, OAG now employs 300 employees globally across 10 offices.
