Orange County Employees Retirement System announced $92.5m in new commitments to private equity funds during its May 2025 Investment Committee meeting. The commitments are comprised of $35m to Hg Saturn 4, $20m to Collective Global Fund I, $10m to NC Adonis Co-Invest, $10m to HIG Starlite Co-Investment, and a $17.5m re-up commitment to Mayfield Select III.
Mayfield Select III, managed by Mayfield Fund, follows a venture capital strategy focusing on clean tech and renewables, consumer goods, TMT and energy/oil and gas sectors throughout North America. OCERS previously committed $12.5m to the fund in May 2023.
Orange County Employees Retirement System currently has a private equity allocation of 16.8%, with a target allocation of 15%. The private equity portfolio amounts to $4.12bn.
