One Equity Partners closes USD2.75bn PE fund

Middle market private equity firm One Equity Partners (OEP) has closed One Equity Partners VIII (OEP VIII), with committed capital of $2.75 billion.

Thanks to strong demand from investors, the fund was significantly oversubscribed, and the hard cap was increased.

The closing of OEP VIII brings the firm’s combined assets under management and committed capital to approximately $10 billion.

OEP VIII is the firm’s largest independent fund to date since OEP completed its spin out from JP Morgan in 2015. The fund attracted commitments from limited partners in 25 countries around the world, including financial institutions, public and private pension plans, asset managers, funds of funds, insurance companies, family offices, high net-worth individuals, and foundations.
