Swiss-based private equity firm Partners Group has announced a plan to expand its presence in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region with the opening of an office in Kuwait. The application process for the office is underway, and subject to regulatory approvals, with the firm expecting to announce its completion and the appointment of a local leadership team in due course.
Partners Group has had a presence in the Middle East since the opening of its Dubai office in 2010, and most recently expanded its presence with an office in Abu Dhabi in 2025. Today, Partners Group’s portfolio companies employ over 2,000 individuals in the region.
The Kuwait office will bring Partners Group’s total number of offices worldwide to 25.
