Pátria Investments, an alternative investment and corporate advisory group based in Brazil, has announced the final closing of its latest private equity fund, Pátria Brazilian Private Equity Fund III, with a raise of USD700m.
The amount is to be invested in opportunities concerning the Brazilian consumer market or infrastructure basic needs.
Alexandre Saigh, partner and co-founder of Pátria Investimentos, says: ‘This is the recognition for Pátria’s successful history of capturing the best opportunities within the Brazilian market’.
Pátria Investimentos was assisted in its fundraising by Park Hill Group and Forum Capital.
Pátria Investments was established in 1994 and manages over USD2.8bn in assets under management.
Its alternative asset management business includes the management of corporate private equity funds, real estate funds and hedge funds.
