Law firm Paul Hastings has appointed Ira Kustin, an established asset management lawyer, concentrating in the representation of private funds, as a partner in the firm’s Investment Management practice in New York.
The appointment of Kustin, who joins from Akin Gump, is part of Paul Hasting’s strategy to grow its credit, hedge, and private equity funds practice within its Investment Management practice.

Ira brings a particular expertise in advising sponsors of, and investors in, complex credit funds, and regularly counsels private fund advisers on international investment platforms including in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
