Global law firm Kirkland & Ellis has appointed experienced private equity lawyer Sebastian Pitz as a Partner based in the firm’s Frankfurt office. Pitz, joins Kirkland from White & Case, where he also held the position of Partner.
Pitz advises leading global private equity firms, energy and infrastructure funds, growth funds and financial institutions on the planning and execution of private M&A transactions, growth, minority and co-investments, public takeovers, joint ventures, disposals and other complex transactions.
Pitz is the latest partner to join Kirkland in Germany, following the arrival of private equity/M&A partners Dr Tobias Larisch and Florian Sippel and restructuring partners Dr Christian Halà sz and Friedrich Schlott. The Firm announced the opening of a new office in Frankfurt in early August.
