EmergeVest, a Hong Kong-headquartered, growth-oriented private equity investment group with holdings that include EV Cargo, a global logistics-technology company and the largest private logistics company in the UK, has appointed Sam Clothier as Investor Relations Director.

Alternative asset management group Tikehau Capital has appointed Hassan Karimi as Senior Advisor in the Middle East Region.
Based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Karimi will work closely with Frederic Giovansili, Deputy CEO of Tikehau Investment Management and Global Head of Sales, Marketing and Business Development, to strengthen the firm’s long-standing relationships with regional investors, as well as developing new partnerships in the region. He will also be responsible for providing insights on allocation trends as Tikehau Capital continues to meet the growing demand from institutional investors in the GCC[i] region for exposure to alternative asset classes and private markets
International investment firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) has promoted John O’Neill to Head of Europe and David Cowan to Senior Managing Director. Both are based in LLCP’s London office.
As Head of Europe, O’Neill, who has also as also been named to the firm’s Investment Committee, will manage LLCP’s rapidly growing team of 10 professionals in its three European offices in London, The Hague and Stockholm.

Information Venture Partners, a Toronto-based venture capital firm that primarily invests in early-stage North American B2B financial technology and enterprise software companies, has appointed Jane Podbelskaya as Principal.
Podbelskaya will be responsible for sourcing and executing new investments and providing operational support to Information Venture Partners’ existing portfolio companies.

Eurazeo has come to an agreement with a group of international investors that will provide EUR340 million additional investment capacity for its Eurazeo growth strategy.
The investors will commit to a newly created continuation fund that will acquire a 32 per cent stake in Eurazeo Growth assets which were financed through the Eurazeo balance sheet. Eurazeo remains fully committed to the development of these companies; it will hold on to the remaining 68 per cent of these assets and will maintain full control through the management of the continuation fund. Duff & Phelps, the world’s premier provider of governance, risk and transparency solutions, today announced that it has appointed Kris Carpen as Senior Director within its Global Restructuring Advisory practice, based in London.
Carpen has over 20 years of experience in providing restructuring advise and support to underperforming businesses and their stakeholders. He joins Duff & Phelps after three years as a director of restructuring at Alvarez & Marsal (A&M). Prior to joining A&M, Carpen spent two and a half years with Monitor, the English Healthcare Regulator, and before that over 14 years with KPMG’s restructuring team.
