Performant Capital forms strategic advisory board

Performant Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm focused on investments in technology-driven companies across SaaS, tech-enabled services, and data intelligence products and services, has established a new strategic board of advisers.

This Advisory Board includes distinguished private equity and family office industry veterans whose focus will be to advise on Performant’s business and growth strategies while augmenting the firm’s deal sourcing, capital raising, and portfolio management capabilities.

Keith H Yamada is a former Partner and member of the Investment Committee at CIVC Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm investing in high-growth middle market companies in business services sectors. During Keith’s nearly 30-year career at CIVC, he was involved in numerous investments across a wide variety of middle market services companies. Yamada retired from CIVC in 2017 and continues to actively invest and serve on the boards of numerous middle market companies. Keith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

“Prior to forming Performant with Mike and Jeff, I worked closely with Keith for over 12 years at CIVC. In addition to being a mentor throughout my private equity career, Keith has deep experience and knowledge in all aspects of private equity investing, and we look forward to his contributions in advising the Performant Capital team on the firm’s growth plans,” says Chris McLaughlin, a Partner at Performant Capital.

Dan Drexler is Chief Investment Officer – Public Securities at Longview Asset Management LLC, the in-house investment vehicle for the Crown Family of Chicago. Drexler brings extensive experience investing in lower middle market companies, serving on the Advisory Boards of Seven Isles Capital, RF Investment Partners, May River Capital, Right Lane Capital, and Arbor Lodging Partners. He is active in a number of charitable and civic organisations throughout the Chicago area.

“Dan has been a valuable adviser, personal investor in our portfolio companies, and overall supporter of Performant since its inception, and we are thrilled to formalise this relationship with the founding of our Advisory Board,” says Mike Ciaglia, a Partner at Performant Capital.

“We are very excited to have the experience and guidance of these two industry veterans in Keith and Dan. We have no doubt their input will be integral in the continued growth and prosperity of our firm,” says Jeff Dillon, a Partner at Performant Capital.
