Permira Credit, one of Europe’s leading alternative credit providers, has appointed Ian Jackson as head of its new Permira Strategic Opportunities (PSO) strategy.
Jackson, who joins Permira Credit on 1 July 2022, brings over 25 years of experience in private credit, with a proven track record of advising on special situations investment opportunities. He joins Permira Credit from Carlyle, which he joined in 2009, and was most recently a managing director and head of Carlyle Strategic Partners.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Jackson was a senior research analyst with Deutsche Bank’s European Distressed and Special Situations Group, investing across the capital structure from senior secured debt to equity, liquidations, refinancings, private equity and special situations.
