Perwyn co-founder relocates to Luxembourg amid continued European expansion

Andrew Wynn, co-founder of UK-headquartered private equity firm Perwyn, has relocated his official country of residence from the United Kingdom to Luxembourg, according to a report by Bloomberg citing a recent corporate filing.

The change took effect on 7 April, with Wynn – who oversees overall firm management and investment activity – now based in the Grand Duchy, where Perwyn established a local subsidiary in 2025.

In a statement, the firm said the move aligns with its broader positioning as a pan-European investor and pointed to its existing operational footprint across Luxembourg, France and Italy.

Luxembourg has become an increasingly attractive hub for investment professionals and asset managers in recent years, particularly in the wake of Brexit, as firms seek greater access to European markets and more flexible cross-border structures.

The relocation also comes against a backdrop of shifting tax and regulatory dynamics in the UK, which have prompted a number of high-net-worth individuals and investment executives to reassess their residency status in recent years.

Perwyn is backed by the Perrodo family, whose interests include oil producer Perenco as well as a wider portfolio of investment vehicles spanning private equity and real estate. The firm operates alongside related entities including a London-based family office and Luxembourg-registered property interests.

Founded in 2013 by Wynn and Bertrand Perrodo, Perwyn has built a mid-market investment platform focused on European growth companies. Recent investments span sectors including software, industrial services and consumer-facing businesses, with portfolio companies across the UK and continental Europe.

The firm has also expanded its capital deployment activity in recent years, supported by rising distributions and increased deal flow across its core markets.
