David Leuschen, co-founder and senior managing director of Riverstone, says: ‘We have known and respected Pete for more than 30 years and welcome him to our firm. The experience and judgment he gained as a long-time general partner at Goldman Sachs and, most recently, his distinguished service to our nation as the US Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein will be invaluable as we build for the future.’

Coneway adds: ‘I am very excited about joining Riverstone which I believe is one of the premier energy businesses in the world. Riverstone’s deep knowledge of the energy industry, disciplined investment approach, hands-on management style, and entrepreneurial culture has differentiated the firm in one of the most vital sectors of our economy. I look forward to contributing my relationships and experience to the firm.’
