Phoenix backs cyber security specialist Logiq

Phoenix Equity Partners, a growth-focused UK private equity firm, has made an investment in UK-based cybersecurity specialist Logiq, the third from its 2022 Fund, following investments in risk analytics and modelling solutions provider 4most and data analytics business Dufrain.

Phoenix Equity Partners (Phoenix), a growth-focused UK private equity firm, has made an investment in UK-based cybersecurity specialist Logiq, the third from its 2022 Fund, following investments in risk analytics and modelling solutions provider 4most and data analytics business Dufrain.

Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
 
Founded by four cyber security engineers in 2018, Logiq provides cyber-related services to the UK public sector, with a particular presence in the defence industry. The company offers two core services: cyber security assurance, strategy and system delivery, and DISX – a proprietary subscription software service that hosts a secure environment to allow information exchange between contractors and government entities.
  
Phoenix will partner with Logiq’s founders, including CEO James Morgan, to support the company’s growth plans. These include enhancing Logiq’s operational platform, further investment in the DISX offering, and supporting expansion into new end-markets.
