PMM Group, an alternative asset manager specialising in real estate & real estate debt, has appointed Richard Collins as Chief Operating Officer (COO), a newly created position.
Collins, who joins the firm as its seventh equity partner, will also be a director of PMM’s mortgage servicing business, Hampton Mortgage Servicing Limited.
Collins was formerly Chief Operating Officer and an equity partner at Europa Capital, the pan European real estate fund manager. During his 12 years with Europa, he helped to grow and diversify the business from solely real estate private equity into real estate debt, student accommodation and real estate income funds. Prior to that, he worked as an M&A banker at Deloitte and BZW. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a trustee of two local charities.
PMM manages assets in excess of GBP1 billion in real estate debt investment in the UK and Ireland and direct investment in German real estate through its listed fund, Phoenix Spree Deutschland.
