L Capital has opened a London office headed by Paul Skipworth, the former president and managing director of Glenmorangie and senior vice president of strategy for Moet Hennessy, LVMH Wines & Spirits.

Our team of multi-disciplinary professionals have unique expertise in managing companies and brands with high emotional content and which offer a distinctive experience for consumers. Given the strength of the UK market and the opportunities which it offers, it is an obvious next step to expand our network into this market,” says Philippe Franchet, senior partner of L Capital Management.
Skipworth started his career in corporate strategy consulting with LEK Consulting and in venture capital with IncubAsia, an early stage investment fund. He joined the LVMH Group in 2003 in Asia Pacific, being promoted to regional director, Asia Pacific for Moet Hennessy.
In 2009 Skipworth was appointed chief operating officer of Glenmorangie, LVMH’s single malt Scotch whisky business based in Edinburgh, taking over as president and managing director in 2011. He then became senior vice president, strategy for Moet Hennessy Wines & Spirits.
