Following the closing of BEX Fund IV in March 2022 at $765 million, BEX Capital, an investment firm focused exclusively on secondaries in private equity fund-of-funds (FoF), secondaries funds and co-investment funds, has appointed Bernard Charpentier as general counsel.
Following the closing of BEX Fund IV in March 2022 at $765 million, BEX Capital, an investment firm focused exclusively on secondaries in private equity fund-of-funds (FoF), secondaries funds and co-investment funds, has appointed Bernard Charpentier as general counsel.
Charpentier joins from Quilvest Capital Partners, a global alternatives investment firm with over $6 billion in AUM. In his nine years as general counsel, he helped to structure numerous investment funds and programs, and supported deal execution. Bernard previously held positions at Luxembourg law firm, Elvinger Hoss & Prussen, and Banque de Luxembourg. He qualified as an “avocat à la Cour” in Luxembourg in 2012.
BEX Capital is expanding its investment team with the addition of a Vice President and two Portfolio Managers, who will join in the coming months.
