Insurance-focused asset manager Prosperity Asset Management (PAM) has appointed two new hires – Matthew Petre and Cassandra Becker – as part of an initiative to scale its third-party insurance AUM and capital markets activities.
Petre, previously Managing Director and Insurance Relationship Manager at Invesco, has been appointed as Head of Business Development, responsible for strengthening client relationships and developing insurance solutions that meet client objectives.
Becker, who formerly served as Director of Legal & Regulatory at Brookfield Asset Management, has joined as Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Counsel, overseeing the firm’s compliance program and advising on legal and regulatory matters.
The additions of Petre and Becker, in these two newly created roles, follow the expansion of PAM’s real estate debt investment team in Q3 2024 – Jason Kelley, former Head of Commercial Real Estate Risk at Global Atlantic, joined the firm as commercial real estate portfolio manager, and Chase Tarantino, former Development Finance Manager at The Domain Companies, joined the firm as an originator.
