Mergers and acquisitions advisory firm Quayle Munro has added two new directors to the firm’s advisory team; James Local and Lalit Kasat.
Local has over ten years of corporate finance experience providing independent advice on acquisitions, disposals and fundraisings. He has worked with entrepreneurs, financial sponsors and global corporates across the B2B software and data, education and media sectors. Local joins from Livingstone Partners where he was a Director in the Business Services team, and has previously worked at UBS and EY. James is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MA from the University of Cambridge.
Kasat has more than twelve years of investment banking and corporate finance experience, a track record of more than USD17 billion of closed transactions to date. Previously, Kasat was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where he advised a broad range of clients on mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions, focusing on the technology and media sectors in recent years. Kasat holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University and is also a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
