Rcapital invests in Drum Cussac

Rcapital, the private London based investor, has made a material growth investment in Drum Cussac, a business risk consultancy.

The deal sees Rcapital take a majority shareholding in the business, backing the current management team of Jeremy Stampa Orwin, founder, Andrew Littlejohns, chief executive, and Craig Stoddart, chief financial officer.

Headquartered in Poole and London, Drum Cussac has 15 years’ experience of working with multinational corporations to mitigate and manage their business, security and operational risks in emerging or complex global markets. Drum Cussac supports a range of industry sectors from oil and gas to professional services.

The investment from Rcapital will be used to grow the company into new markets.

Jamie Constable, Rcapital CEO, says: “Drum Cussac is an acknowledged market leader in the security and business risk management sector with an established blue chip client base. We are looking forward to working in partnership with the existing management team during this exciting phase of the company’s growth.”

Littlejohns says: “Our new partnership with Rcapital allows us to access their specialist business, strategic and financial management skills, enabling us to take a significant step forward in evolving our business. With Rcapital’s considerable financial support we will now be able to execute our strategy at pace, innovating to deliver relevant, integrated services to our customers whilst relentlessly driving our high standards of service delivery.”
