Redpoint Capital Group, an alternative investment company focused on providing financing solutions to companies in the specialty finance and fintech sectors, has appointed Alex Dunev as a managing partner.
Dunev will be responsible for driving Redpoint’s strategic priorities, including sourcing new investment opportunities and raising capital to deploy into Redpoint’s investment strategies.
He will also manage Redpoint’s office in Westport, Connecticut.

His expansive network of corporate and institutional relationships will complement our existing sourcing and financing partners.”
Dunev was previously a managing director in the investment banking division at UBS, leading the bank’s specialty finance efforts in the Americas. Prior to UBS, Dunev also covered specialty finance companies at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. Over his career, he has been involved in numerous transactions across M&A, IPOs and other forms of capital raising.
