Private equity and special situations investment manager Sandton Capital Partners (Sandton) has expanded its London team with the appointment of Tsvi Lewis.
Tsvi joins as an investment manager and will work alongside Matt Meehan, head of Sandton Europe. He will provide transaction support on new investment opportunities and specific projects within the existing Sandton portfolio.
Having begun his career at Deloitte, Tsvi gained experience in Restructuring, Business Turnaround, and Special Situations M&A across a range of sectors covering both SMEs and larger corporates. Following the sale of Deloitte’s restructuring division to Teneo, he moved to Teneo’s Capital Advisory team where he focussed on structuring and executing accelerated M&A transactions.
Sandton, which focuses on providing capital to challenged but viable businesses with a turnover range £20 million to £500 million, is expanding its team to enable it to continue to invest and work with Corporates and management teams across the UK. To date Sandton has executed transactions totalling in excess of £1.5 billion, partnering owners and management teams to provide replacement debt for existing lenders, additional liquidity, and further funding to support transitions back to profitability. Sandton has backed incumbent management in over 98% of over 200 transactions completed with financial institutions globally.
