Roelof Botha, 48, has been appointed as the new head of venture capital giant Sequoia Capital, according to a report by Bloomberg.
Botha will succeed the firm’s current head Doug Leone, who will remain a general partner and retain his current board seats.
Botha will also continue in his role as managing partner of Sequoia’s US and Europe business.
