Signia Wealth appoints Shalini Khemka as Managing Director

Signia Wealth Limited has appointed Shalini Khemka (pictured) as a Managing Director with responsibility for developing Signia’s private equity arm alongside Spencer Moulton and co-ordinating the international expansion of the business.

Khemka will be based in London and work closely with Nathalie Dauriac-Stoebe, CEO of Signia Wealth to build on its existing range of services and grow the business overseas.

Signia Wealth is an independent wealth management boutique specialising in strategic wealth management for individuals, families, entrepreneurs and trusts providing unbiased expert advice. Signia is dedicated to looking after a small number of clients and delivering the highest levels of service. Signia’s Advisory Board Directors include John Caudwell, Jon Moulton, Mike Balfour, Dante Roscini and Stephen Vernon.

Khemka joins Signia while still retaining her position as Chief Executive and Board Director of The London Entrepreneurial Exchange, which she co-founded in 2010 with the support of LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group. The London Entrepreneurial Exchange is a non-profit organisation ‘for entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs’ that seeks to support founders of businesses and formulate partnerships with selected entrepreneurial organisations and corporate institutions to promote entrepreneurial activity.  Board Directors include Sir Richard Branson, Luke Johnson, Brent Hoberman,   Duncan Bannatyne OBE and Chris Gorman OBE.

Khemka launched The London Entrepreneurial Exchange, whilst she was an Investment Director at LDC. LDC remains a supporter of the The London Entrepreneurial Exchange. Khemka joined LDC from Lloyds Banking Group where she led a team in the International Trade Finance business.

Earlier in her career, with three former Managing Directors of Deutsche Bank, Khemka set up the world’s first online ‘bank to bank’ trade finance company and has worked as a management accountant at Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust International, Natwest Bank and Coopers & Lybrand.

Nathalie Dauriac-Stoebe, CEO of Signia Wealth, says: “Signia Wealth will greatly benefit from having Shalini on board working with Spencer to help us to expand and develop our private equity proposition. Joining at an exciting time in Signia Wealth’s growth, her vast experience, values and extensive contacts mean that Shalini will fit well into our rapidly expanding wealth management boutique.

“In the past few months, Signia Wealth has made a number of notable key senior leadership appointments and Shalini’s appointment will add further depth to our senior management team. She will play a key role in the development and positioning of Signia Wealth as a provider of outstanding service levels to our clients across a wide range of different services tailored to our individual client’s needs, maximising the real return on their assets.”
