Alternative investment boutique Silver Creek Capital Management has hired Michael Callahan as Managing Director, Business Development. Callahan joins from Investcorp, where he was a Managing Director focused on institutional capital raising for its global credit business.
His new role will see him assuming responsibility for developing and executing growth initiatives globally and expanding the firm’s institutional investor relationships.
Another recent hire at Silver Creek was David Matter as Co-Chief Investment Officer, who previously served as Managing Director and Co-Chief Investment Officer at BlackRock Alternative Advisors.
Prior to Investcorp, he served as Senior Vice President, Business Development at Shenkman Capital Management and held roles at Millburn Ridgefield Corporation, Fidelity Investments, and Scudder Kemper Investments (now Deutsche Asset Management).
