Silverfleet promotes three new partners in London, Munich and Paris

European private equity firm Silverfleet Capital has promoted Mark Piasecki, Klaus Maurer and Jean Châtillon to partners in the firm.

Piasecki is based in London and joined Silverfleet more than ten years ago. During this time, he has been responsible for making investments across most of Silverfleet’s target sectors including Business & Financial Services and Retail, Leisure & Consumer Products. Piasecki will continue his role as Head of the Financial Services sector and will maintain his focus on investment activities across the UK & Ireland.
 
Maurer has been with Silverfleet for eight years and is based in the Firm’s Munich office. He has been involved in a number of Silverfleet’s successful DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) transactions including the recent sale of Fund I portfolio company Kalle for 3.5x cost. As a partner in Silverfleet’s Munich office, Maurer will continue to focus on investment activities across the DACH region.
 
Châtillon has worked in the private equity industry for eleven years, joining Silverfleet’s Paris office in 2014. Most recently, he Maurer was involved in Silverfleet Fund II’s investment in Coventya, the international speciality chemical business. Jean will become the second partner in the Firm’s Paris office and will continue to focus on investment activities across France & Benelux.
 
These promotions come in a year where the Firm has continued to build its investment team in Stockholm, London, Munich and Paris through the appointments of Karl Eidem (Co-Head of the Nordic Region), Andrew Harrison (Head of Investor Relations), Johan Boork, Jan Kux, Guntram Kieferle and Constance d’Avout.
