Winter Capital has expanded its edtech portfolio by joining Udemy Series F investment round alongside Learn Capital and other marquee investors.   The round closing was finalised in Q4 of 2020. Udemy is the largest global marketplace for learning and teaching online. Shamrock Capital, a Los Angeles-based investment firm, has made an investment in Learn on Demand Systems, a specialist provider of virtual labs used to power hands-on, experiential technology training. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.  Learn on Demand Systems provides cloud-based virtual lab environments to address a range of organizations’ information technology (IT) needs across skills validation, education, sales enablement, and customer support. The company’s offerings empower organizations to accelerate skills acquisition through scored hands-on experiences across a diverse set of topics including DevOps, cloud, security, and software development. DunPort Capital Management (DunPort) has launched a EUR50 million fund to provide tailored and flexible capital solutions to Irish small and medium sized enterprises whose businesses have been directly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. 
ec4u and Bulpros are merging to create a combined digital cloud solutions platform with more than 1,400 employees across 25 offices in 11 countries, backed by the pan-European private equity firm Silverfleet Capital, which has made a majority investment in the merged company.  The two companies, ec4u and Bulpros, which have been collaborating since 2018, have their headquarters in Karlsruhe, Germany and Sofia, Bulgaria, respectively. The company founders and existing management teams of both companies will remain as large shareholders and continue to operate the merged company. The Astrea VI private equity bonds issued this month have been tokenised by iSTOX to reduce the minimum investment ticket by up to 10 times.  This marks the first time digital tokens with exposure to bonds in the Astrea series have been offered.  The manager of the Astrea VI transaction is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Azalea Group, which is in turn an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings. iSTOX’s digital tokens lower the threshold for accredited investors to gain exposure to the private equity bond asset class. FundRock has secured regulatory approval from the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), the French financial markets regulator, for FundRock FFAM, its new AIFM service in France.
