Pan-European private equity firm Squircle Capital has appointed Delfin Rueda as Managing Director of Finance. Rueda has more than 30 years of experience in major financial institutions, including consulting, financial services, insurance, as we all PE and VC.
Pan-European private equity firm Squircle Capital has appointed Delfin Rueda as Managing Director of Finance. Rueda has more than 30 years of experience in major financial institutions, including consulting, financial services, insurance, as we all PE and VC.
Most recently, Rueda served as CFO and Vice-Chairman of the Executive Board at financial services provider NN Group.
An MBA graduate of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, Delfin has advised corporate clients and financial institutions while working at JPMorgan, UBS, Salomon Brothers and Andersen Consulting. He has also worked for ING Insurance and Atradius. He joins Squircle Capital’s growing team of 32 professionals across Luxembourg, Milan and Barcelona.
As Managing Director of Finance, Rueda will guide Squircle Capital’s financial operations and oversee the existing finance and fund administration teams. His primary focus will be implementing governance, reporting, monitoring, and management practices as the company, which manages almost €1bn of assets, continues to grow and expand its platform. Rueda will also become a member of the investment committee and join Squircle Capital’s executive committee.
