Specialised asset management firm Star Mountain Capital has appointed C Shawn Bookin, the former Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, as a Senior Advisor, according to a report by Alternative Credit Investor.
Bookin retired from global investment and advisory financial services firm Guggenheim after a ten-year tenure, where he played a key role in its corporate credit group. While there, he focused on managing the firm’s credit hedge fund and private credit strategies, in addition to overseeing broadly syndicated loans and bonds.
Prior to that, Bookin served for two years in the public sector as a senior investment director for the Australian Trade Commission.
