Stifel co-heads exit Eaton Partners subsidiary

Stifel Financial executives Dirk Jonske and Adrian Siew have left the firm’s Eaton Partners subsidiary, where they co-led the GP Solutions advisory business, focused on private market fundraising in the secondary market, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Jonske joined Eaton in 2023 to lead GP Solutions, advising private asset managers on strategies including continuation funds. He previously worked in Credit Suisse’s Private Funds Group, providing similar advisory services to general partners. Siew, also formerly of Credit Suisse, joined Eaton in 2024 to co-lead GP Solutions.

The departures come as private asset managers continue to turn to the secondary market amid subdued exit activity and a prolonged slowdown in IPOs. Continuation funds accounted for nearly a fifth of all GP-led exits in the first half of the year, according to Jefferies.
