Strategic Value Partners, a global alternative investment firm with $22bn of assets under management, has appointed Grégoire Paepegaey to the firm as a Managing Director and member of the European Investment team to focus on control investment across business services, industrials, and consumer.
Paepegaey, who will be based in the firm’s London office, joins SVP from TDR Capital, where he served as a Managing Director and focused on control private equity investments in Europe and the US.
Prior to TDR Capital, Paepegaey held roles at Mount Kellett Capital Management, Providence Equity, and Goldman Sachs. He started his career as an adviser for technology, energy and telecommunications to the French President.
SVP continues to expand its European presence, having invested more than $20nn in Europe since the firm was founded in 2001.
