Global alternative investment firm Summit Partners has added Dr David Krajicek, CEO of automotive data company JATO, to the firm’s Executive-in-Residence programme, which forms part of its growth-oriented investing strategy.
In his new role, Krajicek will identify new investment opportunities and advise growth-stage companies within the data and analytics sector, working closely with the firm’s growth products & services team.
At JATO, Krajicek he led value creation initiatives centered around technology enhancement, new product launches and improved go-to-market.
Prior to JATO, Krajicek spent 14 years at global market research and analytics company GfK, where he held several executive roles. In 2017, GfK was acquired in a take-private transaction valued at $1.5bn. As part of GfK’s global management board, Krajicek was named CEO of the company’s research division and led during its sale to Ipsos.
Prior to GfK, Krajicek spent nearly a decade at US market research firm ARBOR.
Summit’s EIR programme aims to identify sector-specific opportunities in which EIRs may support companies in an ongoing capacity through board or executive leadership roles, according to a statement.
