Fund administration provider Suntera Global has appointed James Harries as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions as part of its global growth strategy. In his new London-based role, Harries will be responsible for driving the firm’s M&A activity.
Harries will also take a lead on identifying potential acquisition targets and ensuring transactions are completed smoothly and efficiently.
Prior to Suntera, James worked at Planet, a Galway-based private equity-backed payments and software business within corporate development, where he worked across M&A and post-merger integration.
Last year, the firm acquired Guernsey-based boutique fund and services provider Carey Commercial Limited, which was subsequently renamed Suntera (Guernsey) Limited last month. In 2022, Suntera acquired US fund administration provider Socium Fund Services and Channel Islands-based Nedgroup Trust. In 2021, it acquired Luxembourg-based corporate services firm NeoTrust.
