German early-stage technology investor Target Partners has named Dr Michael Münnix as a Partner. Michael joined the firm as an Associate in 2011.
“We are excited and proud to win Michael as Partner,” says Waldemar Jantz, Partner and co-founder of Target Partners. “Michael contributed significantly to nine major investments for the firm: Abusix, adjust, adsquare, Finanzchef24, Scanbot, So1, Swarm64, Theva and Quobyte. Michael brings the perfect mix of technology know-how, entrepreneurial background and investment experience that is crucial for our approach.”
“Target Partners’ combination of strong technology affinity, track record as investors and a hands-on mentality is unique in Europe,” says Münnix. “I am excited to contribute to the team in my new role as Partner. The opportunity for early-stage investment in Germany has never been better, and Target Partners is ideally positioned to make the most of it”. Target Partners has just completed the most active year in company history, investing 25 million Euro in 17 financing rounds.
Prior to joining Target Partners in 2011, Michael was a software architect at ORIMOS Financial Analytics, a Berlin-based enterprise fintech startup and worked at the Centre of Nanophotonics (CNP) on Quantum Cryptography.
