Tayeh Capital Group names ex-RESA Power CEO as operating partner

Tayeh Capital Group (TCG) has appointed seasoned industrial executive Scott Harrison as Operating Partner, strengthening its operating capabilities as the private equity firm continues to scale its middle-market investment platform.

Harrison brings more than 35 years of experience across industrial, engineering and technology-driven businesses, with a track record of leading operational transformation and value creation across complex manufacturing and services organisations.

He joins TCG following his role as chief executive of RESA Power, a North American provider of electrical power systems services. During his tenure, Harrison led the company through a growth phase and played a key role in its sale in 2025.

At TCG, Harrison will work closely with the investment team and portfolio company management teams to support operational improvement initiatives and execution of the firm’s growth strategy, particularly within business services and industrial sectors.

Prior to RESA Power, Harrison held senior leadership roles including chief executive positions at Depot Connect International, Rea Magnet Wire Company and Azure Dynamics, as well as senior executive roles at Hayes Lemmerz International.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Dayton.

TCG, founded in 2025 by Dave Tayeh and Jay Alix with backing from GCM Grosvenor’s Elevate Fund, focuses on investments in founder-led and family-owned businesses in professional and industrial services sectors.
