Tikehau Group has strengthened its private debt team with the appointments of Cécile Mayer-Levi in Paris and Patrick Marshall in London.
Mayer-Levi, 48, has over 26 years of experience in financing investment and corporate finance.
A graduate of HEC, she began her career at Merrill Lynch in the corporate finance department and M&A in Paris and New York. In 1991, she joined ELIG, one of France’s pioneers in capital investment. In 2001, she joined Mezzanis, the mezzanine fund of Credit Lyonnais Private Equity. From September 2005 until March 2013, she launched and developed the private debt activity at AXA Private Equity. In addition to Mezzanine investments, she broadened the scope to unitranche insisting on partnership with Corporates and investment funds.
Marshall, 41, has over 17 years of experience in credit, risk management and loan portfolio management, including leveraged loans and distressed debt in London.
A graduate of Edinburgh University with honours in Business Studies, he began his career in 1995 in London at PWC then Société Générale and N.M. Rothschild & Sons. He joined Lehman Brothers in January 2000 and was appointed managing director and head of the loan portfolio for the EMEA region in 2009. Since 2011, he was a partner of WCAS Fraser Sullivan Investment Management.
