Tower Peak makes sustainability appointment

Global investment firm Tower Peak Partners has hired Monika Dangova as Head of Sustainability. Based in London, Dangova will oversee sustainability integration across Tower Peak’s investment portfolios, including ESG data management, and driving the firm’s environmental and social impact initiatives.

Prior to joining Tower Peak, she served as Sustainable Finance Lead in KPMG International’s Global Decarbonisation Hub, where she designed a sustainable investing framework for private capital managers. The framework enabled the launch of climate and energy transition SFDR Article 8 and 9 funds, and supported the deployment of $50bn in capital. It was later showcased as a COP28 case study.

At KPMG she also led global pursuits in structured financing for net-zero transition and supported the World Economic Forum in designing public-private vehicles to attract private capital into early coal retirement. Before KPMG, Dangova was Head of ESG at Plastic Energy, a company developing chemical recycling technology to address plastic waste pollution.

Tower Peak has already launched fundraising for its debut private equity fund focused on sustainable industrial investments in Europe and North America and launched its Global Rights & Intellectual Property strategy in March of this year. The firm also plans to launch strategies across a range of asset classes including global industrial infrastructure, natural capital and social impact investments.
