London- and New York-based private equity firm TowerBrook Capital Partners has announced the appointment of John Sinik as a managing director based in the firm’s London office, starting May 1.
Sinik has extensive experience in all aspects of the private equity sector as a banker, deal-maker and corporate adviser. He has worked for nine years in leveraged finance and joins TowerBrook from UBS, where he was global head of leveraged finance and European head of private equity coverage, and was a member of the investment banking global management committee.
Sinik previously invested in private equity transactions for Bankers Trust and was a management consultant for Boston Consulting Group.
