TowerBrook Capital Partners (TowerBrook), a London and New York-based private investment firm and the first mainstream private equity firm to be certified as a B Corporation, has made the first investments as part of its impact strategy.

TowerBrook has acquired a majority stake in TXO, a provider of telecom network hardware and asset management services, and a majority stake in Envevo, a UK-based provider of EV design and installation engineering services. Both investments have been made as part of its impact strategy, which targets growing sectors where purpose-driven businesses can deliver meaningful positive impact for communities and society.

TXO is a business-to-business provider of telecom asset management and asset disposal services, providing clients with end-to-end solutions for the sourcing, maintenance, reuse, recycling and disposal of their communications infrastructure. TXO’s business model supports the critical transition towards a circular economy, which TowerBrook will support in the continued scaling of the business, including through international expansion and strategic acquisitions.

Envevo is a business-to-business engineering services provider focused on designing and installing EV chargers, whose capabilities cover the full project lifecycle, from conception and design to construction and project management. Envevo provides turnkey engineering solutions for electrical vehicle connection points across the UK and supports the adoption of electric vehicles and a greater consumption of renewable energy.
