Trilantic Europe-backed Alete Bikes acquires Cicli Esperia

Alete Bikes, a portfolio company of Trilantic Europe, private equity firm focused on mid-market transactions in Europe, is to acquire Cicli Esperia.

The Zanaga and the Turato families, founders of Cicli Esperia, will become minority shareholders of Alete Bikes.

Cicli Esperia, based in Cavarzere (Italy), is a manufacturer of bikes and e-bikes. The company has a wide range of products and operates through four main brands: Cicli Esperia, Legnano, Torpado and Fondriest. In 2021, Cicli Esperia generated revenues of €37 million.
