Trilantic hires two Partners for Italy and Germany

Middle market private equity firm Trilantic Europe has appointed Eugenio Preve and Yasir Piracha as Partners of its Italian and German teams respectively.

Preve previously worked at Cinven as Head of its Italian team and Milan office, where he oversaw origination and execution of Italian investment opportunities.

Piracha previously worked at Quadriga Capital in Germany, where he was a Partner and Head of Healthcare, advising on direct investments in primary private equity opportunities. His new role at Trilantic Europe will see him partnering with Henrik Bodenstab, another Partner, to oversee investment activities in the DACH region.

Last month, Trilantic Europe closed its Energy Transition fund at its target size of €375m. According to a press release, the fund, which had already executed its first two portfolio investments, invests in businesses with established market positions in the energy transition supply chain, including components, technology and services to clean power, sustainable energy, transport and building sectors.
