Bonaccord Capital Partners (Bonaccord), a private equity platform dedicated to acquiring non-control equity interests in leading mid-sized private market sponsors, has acquired a passive minority equity interest in Trivest Partners (Trivest), a private equity firm focused exclusively on founder and family-owned businesses.
Bonaccord, a subsidiary of P10, Inc.
The transaction will provide capital to allow Trivest to continue to invest in its employees and growth initiatives while having no impact on the day-to-day management of the firm. As the equity interest is non-voting, the firm’s investment and decision-making processes will remain unchanged. Additional terms of the investment have not been disclosed.
