Global asset manager Unigestion has added Nick Kavanagh as Principal, Satsheel Redkar as Vice President and Jin Young Kim as Associate to its global secondaries team.
Kavanagh is based in London and the latter two are based in New York.
Kavanagh focuses on sourcing, structuring and executing mid-market secondary transactions. He started his secondaries career at Pantheon Ventures and previously worked for Hamilton Lane for almost seven years, most recently as Principal. While there, he invested in multiple secondary and direct equity transactions in both Europe and the US, including numerous GP-led and direct secondaries.
Redkar has joined Unigestion from Coller Capital, where he worked for three years as a Senior Associate, Secondaries Private Equity and Co-investments. He previously worked for Advent International and Boston Consulting Group.
Kim previously worked for over four years as an associate focused on secondaries at Manulife Investment Management.
The three hires follow that of London-based Jordan Dimmock as Senior Vice President, who joined from abrdn. Unigestion’s secondaries team is headed by Ralph Büchel.
